Driver side mirror...will not "open out" using control

A few years ago it stopped opening when using the inside switch on the console. The passenger side still works which makes me think there must be a fuse, or a motor somewhere on the left side...not sure how to go about fixing it....do i need to just replace the whole mirror as the motor is in there?

Have you checked all the fuses? Your gut could be right. After that, yah I'd assume it was either a bad switch inside or the mirror motor. But, the mirror motor might be kind of expensive to replace just on a hunch without proving it.

My initial search found some video where there was this little plastic watch looking wheel that you replace..but its quite a bit of work to get in there and do it...
