Using the wireless remote (2024 Sequoia)

Does anyone understand how this works? Seems like to lock / unlock the vehicle using my phone I can be quite a distance away. But to start the vehicle, it seems to need a shot line of sight, and even then it often fails to work.

I don't have that same problem. My '24 starts using the app. It is parked about 75 yards from where I am right now. I have no line of site at the moment. It starts just fine. I think that this is a feature that goes away if you are not paying for the subscription.

Thanks for the reply ... this is definitely not the subscription. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I guess I have to experiment with this to better understand the problem.
