Hello everyone. My name is Jim. I'm in southern Ohio. I just bought my first SUV, the Sequoia a few weeks ago. I have owned 2 other Toyota trucks. Since 1999 my daily driver has been a truck. My first new truck was a 2000 Tacoma extended cab. I loved that truck. Unfortunately (fortunately : D ) the wife wanted something bigger. So, I moved up to a 2003 Tundra extended cab. In 2006 I needed a crew cab. Unfortunately Toyota did not have crew cabs for the Tundra. So, I moved up to a 2006 Nissan Titan CC. I had that truck for 10 years, before I moved onto a 2016 F150. I had that truck until earlier this month when I traded it in on the 2024 Sequoia Limited.
Why did I give the long history with trucks? I mainly joined the site to see what people were doing to their rigs to make them able to do what they want them to do. This is the first time in 25 years that I don't have a truck. I know I can live without it. But, do I want to? lol I have some hunting/ recreational property that I use the 'kitchen sink approach' when going there. I would usually keep some things in the truck 'just in case' I made an unexpected stop to do something. When working on something I would take extra tools just in case I needed them. I don't have that luxury (space) now.
I hope to learn from everyone here. Thanks everyone. I am looking forward to being part of this group.
