My 2010 Sequoia is giving me the P2714 Code and it states "Pressure Control Solenoid D stuck in off position. Can any one tell me the location for the solenoid. I belive its accessable from the transmission pan, but theres a few solenoids in that area.
Thanks

I have a 08 code P0983 shift solenoid D

It is located inside the area where the pan covers. That’s all I know. I got various replies that all were guesses. Even the Toyota techs didn’t know which one it was.

There are a number of YouTube videos showing how to test the solenoids. This can be done without opening the transmission if you can get the AT electrical coupling apart. Testing with 12 VDC power to the solenoid wiring at the harness (or at the solenoid if you remove the tranny pan, OR at the wiring harness where it enters the ECM) will produce a “click” when the solenoid operates. If no click, then it’s that solenoid. Make sense?

My issue ended up resolving itself. My sequoia threw that code when my radiator blew out internally, pushing all my transmission fluid into my radiator. After replacing the radiator and flushing/ refilling the coolant and tranny fluid, it all went back to normal after a few more drives.
