The Sequoia from Toyota Motors is a large sized SUV that comes in three trim levels – the Premium, Limited, and SR5.

2010 Sequoia: Toyota’s Latest Launch

The 2010 Sequoia is Toyota’s latest launch; the base trim SR5 comes with a 40/20/40 second-row bench seat, alloy wheels, a CD stereo along with iPod connectivity, triple-zone automatic climate control, full power and Bluetooth accessories. The Limited trim includes power front seats, improved JBL sound system, and leather upholstery.

The Sequoia Toyota is loaded with 20-inch wheels and adaptive shock absorbers, load-leveling rear air springs, 2nd row captain’s chairs, navigation system along with a back up camera, a power lift gate, and more other minutiae. Plenty of features are available optionally too. A rear entertainment and towing system are options features on all the versions.

Sequoia Performance

The original engine used in the SR5 trim is a 4.6-liter V8 engine that delivers 327 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. This powerful and smooth engine directs the power to the wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 5.7-liter V8 engine that is standard on other models and optional on the SR5 trim uses a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine churns out 401 lb-ft of torque and 381 hp. All trims of the Sequoia Toyota are designed with either four-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive.
