The 2007 Toyota Sequoia SUV adapted extra safety equipment along with some reorganized options. It was provided in Limited and SR5 trim levels and turned out to be inexpensive than the lavish Land Cruiser of Toyota but heavier over its medium sized 4R runner.

The 2007 Toyota Sequoia used a 4.7-liter V-8 engine to produce 314 pounds-feet of torque and 273 horsepower, teamed with a 5-speed automatic transmission. It was offered in both rear-wheel, and front-wheel drive-trains. A dashboard control was mounted to allow it to be operated with four-wheel drive-train, while driving upwards.

The 2007 Toyota Sequoia was designed with a 118.1 inches long wheelbase. The vehicle had total length of 203.9 inches; 11 inches longer than the Land Cruiser, but it was shorter than that of Toyota Tundra about 78.9 inches. The Limited trim used 17-inch tires, whereas the SR5 had conventional 16-inch tires. The SR5 had also 16-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, and fog lamps.

The standard Sequoia had a back lift gate and four doors along with a fully ventilated window. The four-wheel drive Mechanism in the Limited trim had 10.6 inches of ground clearance that was larger than most of its rivals.
